About the training
The electricity sector is currently undergoing a digital transformation, and data collection and analysis have become an essential aspect of the industry. The collected data needs to be exchanged among various stakeholders. It is crucial that data exchange is reliable, scalable, and secure to ensure interoperability between all involved parties. To meet these demands, ENTSO-E has developed ECCoSP, a standardized communication platform that offers message delivery capabilities. This training program is designed to equip participants with expert-level knowledge of the ECCoSP communication platform.
What you can expect
The training curriculum covers the introduction of products, architectural concepts, installation and configuration, logging, and monitoring, as well as pre-developed standard testing and troubleshooting scenarios. By the end of the program, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the communication platform's key features and be able to utilize them effectively in their professional work. Concept & Architecture
Introduction to ECCoSP principles and more complex architectures with best practices for design and implementation.
Testing
Procedures for testing the ECCoSP system.
Authentication
Techniques including Keycloak and AD, with installation and connection to ECP and EDX Clients.
Installation & Configuration of ECP Client, EDX Toolbox
Installation and configuration of ECP CD, Broker, Client, and EDX Service Catalogue, as well as FSSF interface configuration with guided installation and hands-on sessions.
Logging & Monitoring
Techniques using Elastic + Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana with hands-on training on installation and sending data to the central stack and Prometheus.
ECCoSP on Kubernetes
Deployment of ECCoSP on a Kubernetes cluster.
Installation, Configuration & Troubleshooting of OPDM
For those interested, we offer an optional add-on as a webinar after the physical sessions. Dates tbd.
Installation of OPDM SP and Client + QoCDC and troubleshooting techniques with guided installation and hands-on sessions.
